Less searching, more doing.

A coach for the moments
you're alone with the agents.

Berd is where you start alone. This is the guide that sits beside it: the steps for each thing you will do, the one paragraph of why when a step surprises you, and a plain answer for when it goes sideways. Written for one person, one laptop, one cast of agents. Nothing here needs a relay.

The six phases — cast in order of appearance

  • Set up Berd

Install, connect a provider, pick a harness, make Home yours. Good for getting to a first real win Vibes patient, one screen at a time

  • Shape the workspace

Projects around your folders, sessions in order, the right rail. Good for giving the engagement a home Vibes tidy, a little territorial

  • Build your cast

The built-in ten, an agent of your own, skills, and how Berd remembers you. Good for agents that work your way Vibes theatrical, exacting

  • Do the work

The working session, artifacts, voice, and the widen–narrow–stress-test pattern. Good for the daily rhythm Vibes steady, unbothered by queues

  • Automate and delegate

The command line, long work outside the turn — and the automations that are not in the public build yet. Good for not doing it a third time Vibes restless, slightly dangerous

  • Safeguard and hand off

Connections, where your Berd lives, staying current, and the one bridge to Buzz. Good for sleeping at night Vibes calm, keeps receipts

Sticky

A note that knows. Sticks to the edge of your screen and says the one thing you need at the moment you need it, then stays out of the way.

Good for the moment you get stuck

Vibes adhesive, unbothered

How to use this guide

Keep Berd on one half of the screen and this on the other. Each task page opens with a sticky note of steps — every entry links to its detail. Each knowledge article ends with Do it: and the task it makes easier. Each FAQ shows the short answer first and hides the rest until you ask.

Everything is stamped. Read from source means the page was written from Berd's own help files, laws, UI strings and release notes at the version shown, and has not yet been walked through in the app. That is the current state of every page here, and the About page says what changes when it is no longer true.

When the work stops being yours alone, it belongs in Buzz. The Buzz Guide is the other half of this one, and Buzz or Berd is the one rule for which is which.
