About this guide

This guide is built as a digital coach: it is designed for the moment you are doing the work, not for reading cover to cover. Task pages lead with the steps; background lives in Knowledge; when something breaks, the FAQ gives the short answer first.

It is a work in progress, like the app. Where Buzz has rough edges, the guide says so and gives the workaround. Each page carries a "verified against" version stamp; treat anything older than the app you are running with appropriate care.

The structure of this guide follows a performance-support design practice, drawing on the Five Moments of Need methodology (Gottfredson & Mosher) and the EnABLE method (Apply Synergies). Buzz is built by Block on the open Nostr protocol.

How this guide is built

The guide is a static site, generated with MkDocs and the Material for MkDocs theme. Every page you read starts life as an ordinary Markdown file, one per task, one per knowledge article, one per group of questions. There is no database and no content management system behind it: the pages are plain files, which is what lets the same content be published here, kept under version control, and carried into another system without a conversion step.

The theme's page templates have been adapted to the Digital Coach format the EnABLE method prescribes, so a task guide, a knowledge article and FAQs each have their own structure, the shape of a page tells you what kind of content you are on before you read a word of it.
